Schulfront, short film 20min (2021)

This short film was created as a contribution for the project “New Normality. Life in the Pandemic“, funded by Heinrich-Böll-Foundation Baden-Württemberg.

The story is set in a fictional setting to explore aspects of the pandemic in a metaphorical way.

In a rural school, an invisible danger is spreading and causes unusual incidents that put students to sleep. This all coincides with the arrival of the new student Verm who never speaks. The class representative Ines tries to make sense of the confusing occurrences and attempts to stop the threat.
